Project Support Worker
Charity Jobs NI is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of HarmonI for a Moving On Project Support Worker to support the delivery of Pathway: Breaking Free From Homelessness Programme — a five-year programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, supporting men experiencing homelessness to build resilience and take positive steps towards securing and sustaining independent living.
This is a practical, people-focused role based within Utility Street Men’s Homeless Hostel, Belfast, working directly with residents to improve confidence, wellbeing and quality of life, while helping individuals develop the knowledge and skills needed to access and maintain a tenancy of their choosing. Depending on your background, you may have worked in similar roles such as a Homelessness Support Worker, Tenancy Sustainment Worker, Resettlement Support Worker, Project Worker, Outreach Support Worker or Housing Support Worker.

The Role
The Moving On Project Support Worker will play a key part in organising, designing and delivering a structured programme to support homeless men to improve their confidence and wellbeing, and to progress towards independent living. You will work alongside key workers and wider supports, helping participants to plan, engage, build skills and celebrate progress throughout the pathway.

Location
Utility Street Hostel, Belfast, with flexibility to travel to other sites as required.
Hours of Work
20 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, including evening and weekend work.
Salary
£14,560 per annum (20 hours per week). Full-time equivalent (37.5 hours): £27,300 per annum.
Contract
Permanent, subject to successful completion of probation.
